Abstract
The Orkney Islands Marine Region: State of the Environment Assessment provides a summary of the pressures affecting Orkney’s marine and coastal environment. It includes ecological, social and economic factors, and the associated pressures and trends. The assessment presents a snapshot in time of the current environmental issues, as of November 2020, and the current status of the key economic sectors.
