Abstract
This an overview of existing studies, comparing them against each other with Life Cycle Assessment. Life Cycle Assessment is looked at primarily through electricity production, space heating, and transport. LCA's are not the final tool, but rather another option for analyzes. However, they are important because they can provide an overall environmental assessment for a technology.
This report provides LCA studies conducted on various energy technologies for a period of 10 to 15 years. In addition, the report describes exactly what an LCA is as well as the general benefits and limitations.
