AB - The Recreational Fisheries Statistics Program provides descriptions and materials for each of the recreational data collection programs administered by the Fisheries Statistics Division of NOAA Fisheries Service. The program provides accurate, precise, and timely fisheries-dependent information for US marine waters through the coordination and administration of recreational fisheries surveys nationwide. A new component of the program is the Marine Recreational Information Program (MRIP), which is a system of coordinated data collection programs designed to address specific regional needs for recreational fishing information.
