AB - In France, marine mammals are heritage species which face major conservation challenges and are liable to be impacted by the installation and operation of offshore wind farms.For this bulletin, the experts focused on the methods and monitoring implemented in order to assess the impacts of an operating offshore wind farm on marine mammals. The operational phase of an offshore wind farm can last up to 25 years and represents the majority of its life cycle.
